We all have something we can do
The purpose of writing this article is to encourage you to do whatever you can, because everyone can do something. We are all talented and strong in different fields of life, it will never matter what you did if the end result of your efforts means and proves you saved a life, all that matters now is what you can do. It’s never too late nor too early to start, this the right time to swing into action and do what you can do best.
If today you decided not to do anything, in my community alone hundreds of children with dreams will die without a helping hand. Life to them is just a difficult puzzle to solve. On one hand is the great need for water. Rivers have gone dry and where there is any water, chances are that they have to share the spoils with all sorts of God’s creation; crocs, hippos just to mention a few. A day can be spent fetching less than a gallon of water as the water source could be 5 – 10 miles away. My question to you is, how far do you go to get water? As people of good will, can finding a permanent solution to this problem be that difficult? It takes you and I to put our brains to task and seek help on behalf of all in despair. On the other hand is starvation, lands that were once so productive can barely support any plant; dust baked by the hot sun is the only cover the plants surviving this tough climate have. Families have lost hefty amounts of income after the death of their livestock caused by severe drought. Life is so unbearable, the only hope these people have is you.
If we can all join hands together as people of good will, we can advance the communities around us to a better life. We do not need to hold any political offices so as to do our communities well; it’s through our own good will that we can achieve this. We have all it takes to inspire those who need us most at this time of crisis.
Let’s join hands together and promote the excellence of the hard hit communities around us. Give what you can, do whatever that is within your reach and together we will achieve great results that will not only see our brothers and sisters progress now but for generations to come.
God bless you all.
