YESTERDAY IS GONE

Yesterday is gone, and today soon will be, and our lives go on and on. Each and every new day brings new ideas and new experiences we gain, yet we can never tell what tomorrow holds, for that's something God has kept safe from us. In tough and challenging situations, we have come through unscathed, but we lose faith that whatever we have in the moment will come and go, and safe we shall remain. God has a plan for each and every one of us, and every day He watches over us, making new plans for us. Even though He seems to have forgotten us now, it's all part of His plan. He wants us to be strong and learn to appreciate when we have the blessings he showers our lives with. Forgetting is all human, and that's why we find ourselves complaining and questioning why God seems to forget about us. And all this time we do this, He is gracefully watching over us, and when we have been torn down and ripped apart, He shows up and heals us, for it is at that time we care to listen and call upon His name. Seriously, how many times do you care to thank God when you have all you need? Aren't you the same person who kneels and calls upon His name when your rent is due and your boss at work turns blind and deaf? All that God wants from us is so little. Only a tenth of our harvest is for us, and the rest is for us, yet it is so hard to part with it.
