THANK YOU GOD

Imagine yourself trekking for over 10 miles one way to the market just to sell 3 liters of sour milk for less than $2. All this in the scorching sun with temperatures no less than 34°C.

Aren't you so blessed that you can shop from the comfort of your house? At the click of a button, you can buy food and everything else you need. You can move around with ease. You have more than enough clothes and pairs of shoes to choose from.

 God, forgive me if I have ever been ungrateful. Open the eyes of our hearts so that we may see the blessings around us. I pray that none of us may ever complain about our lives or where you have placed us. 

Certainly, we are in a better place. May you uplift those below us so that they too can enjoy the privileges of the life we take for granted.

 May you change our ways and hear the cry of those in need. God, silver and gold are yours. My prayer and petition is that you may open an avenue for us to be a blessing to all who need us. And above all, heal us from the greed, jealousy, and pride that continually ail our society. 

Thank you, God, for making me who I am. You have brought me this far, and you have been amazing to me. Thank you, too, for what you are about to do. In you, God, I trust.
